Proflow Billet CNC EFI Intake Manifold Kit, SuperMax Plus, For Holden Commodore LS1/LS2, 102mm Bore, Black
Proflow is proud to present their new full billet aluminium SuperMax+ LS intake manifold! These low-profile intake manifolds for the popular cathedral port cylinder heads (LS1) have been completely redesigned from their sheet metal counterparts and now comprises of a full CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminium construction.
They feature tapered runners to increase air velocity entering the cylinder head and their shorter length helps to provide massive top-end power. Power adders such as turbochargers will thrive off the increased plenum volume to provide power from the mid to high RPM range. Billet aluminium fuel rails with AN8 ORB ports are also included which suit short-length 14mm injectors.
This innovative manifold design has been designed in conjunction with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software to produce a plenum which aims to evenly distribute airflow to all 8 cylinders. The double hump top design has been shown to tumble and redirect fluid towards the intake ports.
SuperMax+ LS manifolds are intended for maximum performance applications and will work best with upgraded engine components and hardware, such as upgraded camshafts and cylinder heads. It is recommended to be used in conjunction with forced induction packages.
